Congratulations on your engagement! I know you must be overjoyed to begin the planning. You have waited your whole life for this moment and have envisioned exactly what you want down to the tiniest detail. You've chosen your date and wedding party, but where do you begin? What is supposed to be the most exciting time of your life has now become a second, and very stressful, job. But, that is where having a wedding planner or coordinator will be your saving grace. I am so passionate about what I do and will go above and beyond to make your wedding planning experience fun and enjoyable.
First free initial consultation:
At our first consult, whether over the phone or in person, I will get to know you a bit better and discuss theme, budget, ideas, etc. and decide which package best suits your needs and budget. If you decide to use me as your planner/coordinator, I will then email you a contract to sign. Once signed, I will email you your first invoice. In order to secure your date, a 50% deposit will be required. Payments can be made at your convenience or you can choose to pay the final payment at least 2 weeks before the event.
What if the difference between a Full Planner and a day-of Coordinator?
Brides often ask me if there is a difference between a wedding planner and day-of coordinator. The answer is yes! A planner is someone who is with you from the very beginning. They assist you in creating your overall budget and assist in sticking to it. They recommend vendors that best suit your needs and attend meetings with them as necessary. They quickly become your wedding BFF. They design the entire landscape of your wedding and assist in bringing it into fruition on the big day. They allow couples to be as involved as they like, but are able to run with their visions if the wedding couple has busy schedules.
A day-of coordinator is much less hands on. They meet with you approximately 4 to 6 weeks prior to the wedding and review the plans that the wedding couple has put together. They will assist you in the last-minute details and assure that everything goes as planned on the wedding day.
